A Second Chance for Filler

Dissolve Lip Filler and Migrated Product Safely

Filler that moved, lumped, or simply went too far does not have to be permanent. Hyaluronidase gives you a reset.

Filler dissolving uses hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers and only hyaluronic acid fillers. Your nurse practitioner injects a measured dose into the problem area, and most patients see softening within 24 to 48 hours. We reassess at one to two weeks, and additional sessions are sometimes needed for denser or older product. Many patients then return for carefully placed dermal fillers once the canvas is clear.

Fountain of Youth Élite treats filler placed anywhere, including work done out of town or years ago. Start with a 15-minute virtual consult from your couch in Stone Oak or Schertz, then come to our Medical Center suite for the 30-minute treatment. Lynda and Maria bring emergency medicine judgment to every correction. Filler dissolving also pairs with Jeuveau or a broader skin rejuvenation plan.

When Filler Goes Wrong

Filler Problems Hyaluronidase Can Correct

The reasons patients book filler dissolving, from the common to the frustrating.

  1. Lips That Look Like a Shelf, Not a Lip

Filler migration above the lip border blurs the shape. Dissolving restores a crisp, natural line.

  2. Too Much Filler in One Area

Overfilled lips, cheeks, or under-eyes can be softened in steps rather than waiting years.

  3. One Side Does Not Match the Other

Targeted hyaluronidase evens out asymmetry caused by uneven placement or product settling.

  4. Lumps You Can Feel or See

Nodules and bumps from hyaluronic acid filler respond well to a precise, measured dose.

  5. Starting Fresh Before New Filler

Clearing old product gives your injector a clean foundation for a better, more natural result.

What Patients Say After Filler Dissolving With Lynda and Maria

"Lynda and Maria at Fountain of Youth Élite took care of Destini for her Botox, and we will be back. Both of them were hands-on the whole visit. They made her feel safe, kept it fun, and still took the time to educate her while they worked. You can tell it is a nurse practitioner clinic, not a rushed med spa. Medical, aesthetics, and wellness under one roof, and they actually explain what they are doing. We recommend them, and we are lifetime customers."

Filler Dissolving FAQs

Hyaluronidase and Filler Migration Questions, Answered

What is hyaluronidase and how does filler dissolving work?

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid, the material most modern dermal fillers are made from. Your nurse practitioner injects a measured amount into the area of concern, and the filler begins to soften and dissolve. Visible change usually appears within 24 to 48 hours. It only works on hyaluronic acid fillers.

Can you dissolve lip filler that has migrated above the lip line?

Yes, this is one of the most common reasons patients come to us. Migrated lip filler creates a shelf or blur above the natural border. Targeted hyaluronidase dissolves the misplaced gel so the lip line is redefined. After reassessment at one to two weeks, some patients choose a fresh, conservative refill.

Will dissolving filler also affect my natural tissue?

Hyaluronidase is placed precisely into the filler, and your provider uses a conservative dose for exactly this reason. Some patients notice the area looks slightly deflated for a short time as swelling settles and the body's own hyaluronic acid replenishes. We reassess at one to two weeks before deciding on anything further.

How many filler dissolving sessions will I need?

Many patients need only one session, but denser or older filler, or larger amounts, may need more. Your nurse practitioner starts with a measured dose, reviews the result at one to two weeks, and recommends an additional session only if needed. Individual results vary, and we would rather dissolve in steps than overcorrect.

How do I book filler dissolving if you did not place the filler?

Book an Élite Consultations Filler Dissolving appointment. It starts with a 15-minute virtual consult where you show the area on camera and share what was injected and when. If you are a candidate, a 30-minute in-clinic treatment is scheduled at our Medical Center suite. We treat filler from any provider.

Treatments are provided after an individualized evaluation by a licensed provider. Results and longevity vary by person, and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Some concerns may require an in-person evaluation or a referral.
