Jeuveau, sometimes called Newtox, is a neurotoxin approved by the FDA for aesthetic use. It relaxes the small facial muscles that crease the skin, the same way Botox does, using a modern purified formulation. Some patients prefer one brand over the other. Jeuveau is priced per unit, and the number of units depends on the areas treated and your individual muscle strength. Your nurse practitioner maps the plan and tells you the unit count before any injection, so you approve the total first. Treating several areas in one visit simply adds the units for each.

Most patients notice lines softening within several days, with the full effect developing over the following two weeks. Results are temporary and individual results vary; many patients return every few months to maintain the look. Your provider will suggest a timing that keeps results consistent without overtreating.

The injections use a very fine needle and feel like a quick pinch that passes in seconds. Most patients drive themselves back to work or home right after. We ask you to avoid rubbing the area, lying flat, and strenuous exercise for a few hours, and to skip alcohol and blood thinners beforehand when possible.
