Can I order lab tests myself, or does a provider have to?
Labs at Fountain of Youth Élite are ordered by your nurse practitioner during a visit, whether that is a telehealth urgent care call, a hormone consultation, or a weight check-in. That way every test has a reason, and a clinician reviews the results with you rather than leaving you to interpret a PDF.
Where do I get my blood drawn?
You have three options. Draws can happen in our clinic on Medical Drive, at a local lab near you using the order we send, or at home through our mobile lab concierge in eligible areas. Mobile collection is scheduled after your visit by text or phone, subject to availability, and is not a 24/7 service.
How much does lab testing cost?
Lab, imaging, and medication charges are separate from your visit fee and depend on the tests ordered and whether insurance or self-pay applies at the lab. Your provider tells you what is being ordered and why, and we aim for targeted panels rather than unnecessary extras. Ask about estimated costs before the draw.
Do you offer STI testing?
Yes. Discreet STI testing can be ordered after a sexual health telehealth visit or in-clinic consultation, with collection in clinic, at a local lab, or through mobile concierge where available. Results are reviewed privately with your provider, and treatment is prescribed when clinically appropriate.
What about X-rays, ultrasounds, or other imaging?
Your provider can refer you for imaging and diagnostic studies at an appropriate facility when an exam or symptoms call for it. We coordinate the order, review the report with you, and plan next steps. Imaging charges are billed by the facility and are separate from your visit fee.
