Your Own Growth Factors
Regenerative Skin and Hair Treatments Powered by Your Blood
PRP works with your biology instead of adding a foreign substance, which makes it a natural fit for patients who want gradual, authentic improvement.
Platelet-rich plasma concentrates the healing signals already circulating in your blood. A quick draw is spun to separate the golden plasma layer rich in platelets and growth factors, which is then delivered into the skin during microneedling or injected into targeted areas like the under-eyes or scalp. The result is a slow, steady stimulation of collagen, elastin, and hair follicle activity over the following months.
Our co-founders bring acute care expertise to every blood draw and injection, so the procedure is precise and comfortable. When PRP launches at Fountain of Youth Élite, it will be offered on its own and in combination with microneedling and skin rejuvenation plans for San Antonio patients who want texture, tone, and thinning hair addressed together.

PRP FAQs
Vampire Facial and PRP Questions, Answered
What is PRP and how does a vampire facial work?
Platelet-rich plasma is made from a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors. In a vampire facial, that plasma is applied during microneedling so the growth factors reach the deeper skin layers and stimulate collagen and repair.
When will PRP treatments be available at Fountain of Youth Élite?
PRP facial rejuvenation and hair restoration are in the final stages of launch at our San Antonio clinic. Join the waitlist through the contact form or follow us on Instagram, and we will reach out as soon as booking opens for these treatments.
Is PRP safe, and who is a good candidate?
Because PRP comes from your own blood, allergic reaction risk is very low. Good candidates want gradual, natural improvement in skin texture, tone, fine lines, or early hair thinning. Your nurse practitioner reviews your history first, since certain blood disorders and medications may rule PRP out.
How many PRP sessions will I need?
Most facial rejuvenation and hair restoration plans involve a series of three to four sessions spaced about four weeks apart, followed by maintenance one to two times a year. Collagen remodeling takes time, so results build gradually over several months rather than overnight.
What should I expect for downtime after a vampire facial?
Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for one to three days, with some tightness and light flaking as the skin renews. Most patients return to normal activity the next day while avoiding makeup, sun, and intense exercise for a short period your provider will outline.
