Everyday Care by Video

A Telehealth Doctor Visit for the Concerns That Fill a Normal Week

Not every cough, rash, or follow-up deserves a trip down Fredericksburg Road. Online primary care covers the routine concerns from wherever you are.

Online primary care at Fountain of Youth Élite means seeing a licensed nurse practitioner by secure video for the things that do not need a hands-on exam. Book an online sick visit for a cold, flu, or sinus infection, check in about a lingering rash, or review recent lab results. If you need something faster for a new illness, telehealth urgent care runs around the clock.

We complement your primary care physician rather than replace them. Annual physicals and chronic disease management stay with your PCP, while we handle the in-between visits, quick medication refills, and home lab collection when labs are ordered. Visits are available in English or Spanish with either co-founder, which matters to many families across Bexar County.

Why Patients Go Virtual First

Everyday Health Concerns That Fit an Online Primary Care Visit

The situations where a video visit saves you a waiting room and gets you a plan the same day.

  1. Your PCP Cannot See You for Three Weeks

A sinus infection will not wait for the next opening. See a nurse practitioner today by video.

  2. A Cough That Lingers After the Cold

Your provider listens to your history, checks for red flags, and treats what is appropriate.

  3. Blood Pressure Readings Look Off at Home

Share your log on camera and get guidance on next steps without a half-day off work.

  4. A Rash Showed Up and You Want Answers

Most skin concerns are evaluated visually, so a clear camera view is often all we need.

  5. You Need a Note for Work or School

When clinically appropriate, your provider sends a visit note you can forward the same day.

What Patients Say About Online Primary Care With Lynda and Maria

"Absolute amazing care team! Made me feel comfortable and excited to start a new wellness!"

Angelina Jaurrieta

October 2026

"Lynda and Maria at Fountain of Youth Élite took care of Destini for her Botox, and we will be back. Both of them were hands-on the whole visit. They made her feel safe, kept it fun, and still took the time to educate her while they worked. You can tell it is a nurse practitioner clinic, not a rushed med spa. Medical, aesthetics, and wellness under one roof, and they actually explain what they are doing. We recommend them, and we are lifetime customers."

Gabriel Ybarra

October 2026

"Love how truthful they are about what services you need. Finally found someone that will listen to your concerns and not just out to take your money. I highly recommend coming here. They are gonna get me as a regular. I love how sweet and nice Linda and Maria are. I will be back."

Online Primary Care FAQs

Telehealth Primary Care Questions, Answered

Is online primary care a replacement for my regular doctor?

No, and we are honest about that. Virtual doctor visits work best alongside a primary care provider who handles your annual physical and long-term records. We cover the sick visits, quick follow-ups, and everyday concerns in between, and we are glad to send a visit summary to your PCP when you ask.

What can a telehealth doctor visit actually treat?

Most everyday illnesses: colds, flu, sinus pressure, sore throats, allergies, rashes, stomach bugs, urinary symptoms, and minor injuries. Your nurse practitioner can also review labs, check in on blood pressure readings, and renew eligible prescriptions. Conditions that need a hands-on exam are referred to the right in-person setting.

Can I get a prescription during an online sick visit?

When it is clinically appropriate, yes. Antibiotics, antivirals, allergy medications, and many common prescriptions are sent electronically to the Texas pharmacy you choose, often before the call ends. Controlled substances are never prescribed by telehealth, and your provider will explain any case where a prescription is not the right answer.

Are online medical care visits available in Spanish?

Yes. Both of our co-founders, Lynda Okafor and Maria Rendon, are fluent in medical Spanish and see patients in either language with no interpreter on the line. Many families on the West Side and across Bexar County book with us for exactly that reason. Choose your language preference during intake.

What if I need labs or imaging after my video visit?

Lab orders and imaging referrals are included in the visit fee when your provider orders them. If your labs can be drawn at home, our Mobile Lab Concierge team contacts you after the visit to schedule a collection. Lab and imaging charges themselves are billed separately by the facility that performs them.

Telehealth visits are for non-emergency concerns. Not every condition can be safely evaluated virtually; your provider will tell you if an in-person visit, imaging, or emergency care is needed. If this is an emergency, call 911. Medication, lab, and imaging charges are separate from the visit fee.
