The Mobile Lab Concierge is a benefit of every Fountain of Youth Élite telehealth visit. When your nurse practitioner orders blood work or a urine specimen during a telehealth urgent care or online primary care visit, our team reaches out by text or phone and schedules a collection at your home. The concierge service is included in the visit fee; only the lab's own processing charges are separate.
Mobile phlebotomy is not something you book on its own. It is scheduled after the visit, during the lab team's working hours, and depends on your address being inside our service area and the specimen being suitable for home collection. It also supports virtual wellness visits and provider-ordered lab testing, so a hormone panel in Stone Oak does not require a drive to the Medical Center.

You do not book it directly, and there is no online scheduling for the lab team. Mobile lab collection is arranged only after a telehealth visit in which your nurse practitioner orders labs. Once the order is placed, our concierge team contacts you by text or phone to set a collection time at your home.
Is the at-home lab draw really included in the visit fee?
Yes. The Mobile Lab Concierge is included with your telehealth visit fee when labs are ordered and your address is within our service area. The laboratory charges for processing the tests themselves are separate and billed by the lab, just as they would be if you visited a draw station.
Which areas does mobile phlebotomy cover?
Our team serves the San Antonio metro, including the Medical Center, Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Helotes, Leon Valley, Shavano Park, and nearby communities such as Boerne, New Braunfels, and Schertz. Coverage depends on current availability. Patients outside the service area are directed to a nearby lab with the same order.
Is mobile lab collection available 24/7 like telehealth?
No. Telehealth visits run around the clock, but home collections are scheduled during the lab team's working hours and depend on availability and the type of specimen ordered. Some tests must be collected fasting or processed within a time window, and our concierge will explain any requirements when they contact you.

A licensed phlebotomist arrives at the scheduled time with everything needed, confirms your identity and the orders, and completes the collection in about twenty minutes at your kitchen table or wherever you are comfortable. Specimens go straight to the lab, and your nurse practitioner reviews results with you when they are ready.
