No Gap in Your Medication

Prescription Refills Online Before You Miss a Dose

A missed refill should not turn into a missed week of blood pressure or thyroid medication. A short video visit keeps you covered.

Medication refills by telehealth are built for the moment your bottle is nearly empty and your regular prescriber cannot see you in time. Book a video visit, show your nurse practitioner the medication you take, and when it is clinically appropriate the refill is sent electronically to any Texas pharmacy. The prescription is included in the visit fee, the same as an online primary care visit.

We refill eligible maintenance medications only, never controlled substances, and we tell you plainly when a medication needs updated labs first. If so, our mobile lab concierge can collect the specimen at home. Patients leaving San Antonio International Airport for a trip, or settling in from Austin or Houston, use these visits as a bridge until their next telehealth urgent care or in-person appointment.

Safe, Simple Refills

What to Know Before a Telehealth Refill Visit

The guardrails that keep online refills responsible, and the conveniences that make them easy.

No Controlled Substances

Stimulants, benzodiazepines, and opioids are never prescribed or refilled through a telehealth visit.

Maintenance Medications Only

Refills are for medications you already take and tolerate, not new long-term treatment starts.

Any Pharmacy in Texas

Choose your neighborhood H-E-B, a chain near work, or a 24-hour location across town.

Labs When They Are Due

Thyroid and cholesterol refills may need recent labs; we order them and arrange collection.

Refills After Hours

Visits run 24/7, so a Sunday night realization does not mean a Monday without medication.

Spanish-Speaking Providers

Review your medication list in Spanish or English with Lynda or Maria directly.

Why Texans Trust Our Nurse Practitioners With Prescription Refills

"Lynda and Maria at Fountain of Youth Élite took care of Destini for her Botox, and we will be back. Both of them were hands-on the whole visit. They made her feel safe, kept it fun, and still took the time to educate her while they worked. You can tell it is a nurse practitioner clinic, not a rushed med spa. Medical, aesthetics, and wellness under one roof, and they actually explain what they are doing. We recommend them, and we are lifetime customers."

Medication Refill FAQs

Online Prescription Refill Questions, Answered

Which prescriptions can be refilled online?

Common maintenance medications that you already take and tolerate well: blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, allergy, asthma inhalers, acid reflux, birth control, and many non-insulin diabetes medications. Your nurse practitioner reviews your history during the visit and confirms a refill is safe. Some medications require recent labs or an in-person exam first.

Can you refill controlled substances by telehealth?

No. Fountain of Youth Élite does not prescribe or refill controlled substances through telehealth. That includes stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, sleep medications in that class, and similar prescriptions. If you take one of these, please continue with your prescribing provider. We are happy to help with your other, eligible medications.

Do I need to be an existing patient to get a telehealth refill?

No. New patients are welcome. Book an Élite Telehealth Urgent Care visit, complete the intake with your current medication list and pharmacy, and your provider reviews everything by video. It helps to have your bottles nearby so we can confirm the exact drug, strength, and directions before sending the refill.

How many days of medication will you prescribe?

Refills are typically written as a bridge supply so you stay on track until you can see your regular prescriber or establish ongoing care. The exact quantity depends on the medication, your history, and when labs were last checked. Your nurse practitioner explains the amount and any follow-up needed during the visit.

Which pharmacies can receive my prescription refill online?

Any pharmacy in Texas. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the location you choose, whether that is an H-E-B near your home, a national chain, or a 24-hour pharmacy when you need it tonight. The refill is included in the visit fee; the medication itself is billed by the pharmacy.

Telehealth visits are for non-emergency concerns. Not every condition can be safely evaluated virtually; your provider will tell you if an in-person visit, imaging, or emergency care is needed. If this is an emergency, call 911. Medication, lab, and imaging charges are separate from the visit fee.
