Rehydrate With Clinical Hands

Vitamin Drips Placed by Emergency-Trained Nurse Practitioners

An IV is only as good as the person starting it. Ours have placed thousands in San Antonio emergency rooms.

IV hydration therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals directly into your bloodstream, so nothing is lost to digestion. Patients come in for immune support during cedar season, athletic recovery after a long run on the Mission Reach, rehydration after a brutal July heat wave, or gentle relief the morning after a Fiesta weekend. Your nurse practitioner checks vitals, reviews your history, and selects a blend for your goal.

Every drip is given in clinic at our Medical Drive suite by Lynda or Maria, whose emergency IV experience makes even difficult veins a quick, comfortable stick. IV therapy pairs well with weight management, peptide therapy, and a wellness consultation if you want to understand what your body actually needs before you book a drip.

When a Drip Makes Sense

Moments San Antonio Patients Book IV Hydration

Some days water and rest are not enough. These are the situations an infusion is built for.

  1. Wiped Out by the Texas Heat

Fluids and electrolytes restore what a 100-degree afternoon outdoors drained from you.

  2. Fighting Off a Cold or Flu

Immune support blends with vitamins and hydration help you feel human while you recover.

  3. Sore After a Race or Hard Training Block

Athletic recovery drips replenish fluids and minerals so you bounce back faster.

  4. Rough Morning After a Celebration

Gentle rehydration and nutrients can ease a hangover without a day lost on the couch.

  5. Jet Lag or Travel Fatigue

A drip after a long flight into SAT helps reset energy before work on Monday.

IV Therapy Reviews

Patients on Their IV Hydration Visits in San Antonio

"Lynda and Maria at Fountain of Youth Élite took care of Destini for her Botox, and we will be back. Both of them were hands-on the whole visit. They made her feel safe, kept it fun, and still took the time to educate her while they worked. You can tell it is a nurse practitioner clinic, not a rushed med spa. Medical, aesthetics, and wellness under one roof, and they actually explain what they are doing. We recommend them, and we are lifetime customers."

IV Hydration FAQs

Vitamin Drip and IV Therapy Questions, Answered

What is IV hydration therapy?

IV hydration delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals directly into a vein, bypassing digestion so your body can use them right away. A nurse practitioner reviews your health and goals, selects a blend, and monitors you during the drip. It is a supportive wellness treatment, and individual results vary.

How long does an IV drip take?

Plan on about 45 to 60 minutes in the clinic. A short check-in and vital signs come first, then the IV is placed and the drip runs while you relax in a chair with your phone or a book. You can drive yourself home and return to your day right after.

Who places the IV?

Every IV at Fountain of Youth Élite is placed by one of our nurse practitioner co-founders, both of whom spent years starting IVs in San Antonio emergency departments. If you have small or hard-to-find veins, you are in experienced hands, and we take the time to make the stick comfortable.

Can I get IV therapy by telehealth or at home?

No. IV hydration is in clinic only, at 4115 Medical Drive, Suite 210. An infusion needs a clinician present to place the line and monitor you, so we do not offer mobile drips. Our telehealth services cover other visits, and our mobile concierge handles lab collection, not infusions.

Is IV hydration safe, and who should skip it?

IV therapy is generally well tolerated when screened and administered by a clinician. Patients with heart failure, kidney disease, or certain other conditions may need to avoid extra fluid, which is why we review your history and vitals first. We will recommend a different option if an infusion is not right for you.

Programs are provider-supervised and personalized after a medical evaluation and, where appropriate, lab work. Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. Prescription therapies are prescribed only when clinically appropriate.
